DEXA Scan
We recommend, where possible and if appropriate, getting a DEXA scan done before you start the Bone Health Program Year One. This will provide a benchmark-measure of your current bone health, and the ability to track any changes in your bone health over time.
ONE: Prepare
Start with the FREE Pre-Conditioning Program for the first 4 weeks. You’ll repeat each session, 3-times per week, to help get your body ready for the Bone Health Program Year One. Complete the FREE Pre-Conditioning Program, BEFORE purchasing the Bone Health Program Year One.
TWO: Stretch
Perform the FREE Stretching Program after every Pre-Conditioning session to help your muscles recover optimally.
THREE: Perform
The Bone Health Program Year One is performed bare-footed and works in 4-week blocks. You repeat the same session for 4 weeks, before progressing to the next new 4-week block.
The Bone Health Program Year One is designed to be progressive and repetitive. This program includes osteogenic exercises that take approximately 2-5 minutes a day, and you can do them in the comfort of your own home … while you wait for the kettle to boil.
In the Bone Health Program Year One you will be guided through a structured exercise program which becomes progressively more difficult over 12 months.
You will ‘Jump, Jump, Rest, Repeat’ to strengthen your bones, 2-5 times each week, using a series of specific jumps and jump-landings. Our research found that bone health in premenopausal women improved (3.5 to 5% at the end of 12 months), when they performed the exercises, taking only 2-5 minutes per day.
Our research informed how we structured our 12-month Bone Health Program Year One. We monitored compliance and technique, which led to significant bone health improvements in our research participants.
The Bone Health Program Year One is a supplementary osteogenic exercise program to specifically target bone health and can be performed alongside your regular exercise programs.
